Left fragment (P.Lond. II 297a descr., TM 19979): Extract from census registers of 89-90; under publication.
Right fragment (P.Lond. II 297b, TM 19980): Ptollas, son of Heron, has paid the sales-tax on account of Statilius Apion and Valerius Apollonius, nomarchs, through two intermediaries, for the half share of a house located in the village of Philoteris, in the meris of Themistos. With red stamp on the back. Dated to 22 December 119.

Two papyrus fragments that do not belong together housed in one glass case.
Left fragment (A): Broken off at the bottom, with holes and surface damage; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. 12 lines survive.
Right fragment (B): Broken off at the bottom, damaged by holes; with writing on both sides along the fibres. On the front, a strip of vertical fibres is visible in the upper poriotn of the sheet. The back was rotated 90 degrees and contains one line and a red stamp. The front bears the top of a column, of which 10 lines survive.
