A receipt issued to Tesenouphis, priest in Soknopaiou Nesos, who has paid 20 drachmas and surcharges and 8 drachmas and surcharges on account of the tax paid for the admission into the priestly order (eiskritikon) for the temple of Soknopaios and for the Hermaion respectively.

Square-shaped papyrus sheet, complete, written on one side along the fibres; the back is blank. The text consists of 9 lines, all complete. Margins are extant, with no margin to the right and an ample margin to the left (35 mm). A few wormholes of small size are visible. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.
