Petition addressed to the beneficiarius (a military officer) stationed in the district from Pabous, of Soknopaiou Nesos, who complains about acts of violence and threats perpetrated against him by Sempronius, a village elder, and his people. The men came over to his house on that very day, trying to force him to hand over two of his relatives. Sempronius keeps being oppressive in the village, and Pabous asks that he and his associates may be brought before the beneficiarius.

Papyrus sheet, complete, with few small holes along the folds; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The text is complete and has 21 lines, the last of which is separated from the others by some blank space. All margins are extant, with the right being irregular and minimal. The blank space at the bottom measures c. 50 mm. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.
