An application addressed to Monimus Gemellus, royal scribe of the division of Herakleides, from five men of Soknopaiou Nesos, Stotoetis, Panephremmis, Horus, Pacysis, and Amunis, for leasing 150 aruras of shore-land. The lease is for one year and the rent is of two drachmas per arura. With subscriptions of the lessees at the end.

Papyrus sheet, complete but damaged at the bottom and along the vertical folds. Writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. The text is complete and consists of one wide column of 20 lines. Left, upper and lower margins are extant, with the blank space at the bottom measuring 50 mm; no margin was left at the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: 226 x 173 mm; housed in a glass case measuring 280 x 225 mm.
Script: Practised and neat cursive hand of fair size; a line was added between the original lines 12 and 13. Different hands for the subscriptions in the last four lines: small, uneven rapid cursive with a slant to the right, hand of Stotoetis; the last two lines display rough, upright detached letters.
