A petition addressed to Flavius Abinnaeus from Aurelia Maria, daughter-in-law of a soldier stationed at Memphis, with holding in the village of Theoxenis. Maria complains that at night nine of her sheep had been shorn, and three carried away. The alleged culprits are Ioannes and Elias, both of Narmouthis. Maria asks that these individuals be apprehended.

Papyrus sheet, almost fully preserved with the exception of some holes of fair size; writing is on one side along the fibres; all margins are extant, the right being minimal. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.
