Two joining fragments of equal size from a papyrus sheet, of which they are the left part. The right portion is missing. Writing is on one side along the fibres. The surface is somewhat defaced in places. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Dimensions: 240 x 98 mm; housed in a glass case measuring 290 x 150 mm.
Script: Thick cursive hand, same as that of Papyri 241 (P.Abinn. 52), 406 (P.Abinn. 56), 414 (P.Abinn. 5), and of a Geneva papyrus published as P.Abinn. 57.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, or Dionysias, meris of Themistos, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 401-447 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 15 May 1893.
