A letter to Abinnaeus from Apa Mios, who is requesting a meeting. Mios alludes to some matters, among which is the delivery of some goods in kind, and urges the recipient not to neglect these affairs. One line written in the left margin perpendicularly to the main text contains greetings to Abinnaues’ household; the address is on the back.

Light-brown papyrus sheet, with holes located especially along the vertical and horizontal folds, damaged at the top and bottom. Writing runs along the fibres on both sides, the back having a one-line docket. On the front, a line was written in the left margin across the fibres and perpendicularly to the main text. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.

Provenance: Philadelpheia, meris of Herakleides, or Dionysias, meris of Themistos, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 401-447 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 15 May 1893.
