Papyrus sheet, written on one side across the fibres, the back being blank. The sheet is somewhat damaged at the edges; in the left and upper margins traces of other writing remain. After some blank space, two lines are preserved at the foot of the sheet. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Dimensions: 113 x 138 mm; housed in a glass case measuring 145 x 180 mm.
Script: Thick, rough and irregular cursive hand, sloping to the right. A second cursive hand, upright and smaller, is found at the end of line 8.

Origin: Herakleia, meris of Themistos, Arsinoite nome, Egypt.
Provenance: Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 450-464 and Coptic papyri from Theodor Graf (b. 1840, d. 1903) in March 1893 and transferred with Papyri 450-458 from the Oriental Department of the British Museum in November 1893.
