Upper papyrus (A) (P.Petr. I 24(1), P.Petr. III 52(b)1): Conclusion of a document, of which only the date survives (230 BC?).
Second papyrus (B) (P.Petr. I 24(2), P.Petr. III 52(b)2): Fragment of a contract, dated in January or February 269 BC.
Lower papyrus (C) (P.Petr. I 24(3), P.Petr. III 52(b)3): Conclusion of a letter, dated 13 June 256 or 255 BC.

Three papyrus fragments that do not belong together, extracted from mummy cartonnage, mounted on cardboard in the same glass frame.
Upper papyrus (A): Lower right corner of a medium-brown papyrus, with plaster residue; written on one side across the fibres. The end of 1 line survives, with a small trace of another line at the top, and lower and right margins. The back is blank.
Second papyrus (B): Fragment of a medium-brown papyrus, complete at the top and broken off on the other sides; written on one side across the fibres. Portions of 10 lines survive, with only scant traces of the last two lines; the upper margin is extant. The back is blank.
Lower papyrus (C): Bottom of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete on the sides and broken off at the top; written on one side across the fibres. Four lines from the bottom of a column survive, with lower and side margins. The back is blank.

Script: Three neat and upright hands of varying size.

Origin: Arsinoite nome, Egypt.
Provenance: Gurob, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Presented as part of a lot comprising Papyri 486-603 by Henry Martyn Kennard (b. 1833, d. 1911) in May 1895. The papyri had been extracted from mummy cartonnages found in Gurob by William Matthew Flinders Petrie (b. 1853, d. 1942) in 1889-1890.
