Recto (P.Petr. II 34b, P.Petr. III 127ro, P.Lond. III 572ro. descr., TM 7595): Fragmentary account of unguents with quantities and prices. Oils and perfumes are obtained from various plants, such as rose, palm, fenugreek, myrtle. The detached fragment bears names of the same perfumes as found in column 2.
Verso (P.Petr. III 127 vo. descr., P.Lond. III 572 vo. descr., TM 4409): Report on land, mentioning uncultivated land and referring to reports of former officials. Unpublished.

Fragment of papyrus and detached scrap, reused as mummy cartonnage, with plaster residue, especially on the back; broken off at the sides; written on both sides. The front bears portions of two columns written along the fibres; a sheet-join runs from top to bottom in the left edge. The detached fragment has the beginnings of 8 lines and a trace of another line at the top. On the back there is one column written across the fibres, covered with plaster. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 351 x 176 mm; detached fragment: 106 x 53 mm. Housed in a glass frame measuring 400 x 230 mm.
Script: Recto: Neat and regular hand of medium size; lines slightly uneven. Verso: More cursive hand, upright and regular.

Origin: Arsinoite nome, Egypt.
Provenance: Gurob, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Presented as part of a lot comprising Papyri 486-603 by Henry Martyn Kennard (b. 1833, d. 1911) in May 1895. The papyri had been extracted from mummy cartonnage found in Gurob by William Matthew Flinders Petrie (b. 1853, d. 1942) in 1889-1890.
