Notice addressed to the keepers of the public archives from Tauetis, daughter of Stotoetis and priestess of the god Socnopaeus, acting with her brother as a guardian, to register a mortgage of 4 ½ aruras of catoecic land located near the village of Apias, which she has received from Apia, for 2000 silver drachmas plus interest. With dockets of the record-office at the beginning and end.

Light-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the top, and damaged by insect holes throughout; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are 24 lines, the first of which is mutilated. Lower and left margins partly survive; no margin was left to the right. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: 200 x 108 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 255 x 160 mm.
Script: Thin hand, irregular, being upright semi-cursive in the the upper part and becoming more cursive and slanting to the right in the lower part; second hand for lines 1 and 22-24, a rapid cursive, bigger and sloping to the right.
