Seven fragments of varying size extracted from mummy cartonnage, mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
Upper left papyrus (A): Upper left portion of a light-brown papyrus sheet; written on one side across the fibres. The front bears the beginnings of 11 lines, with a small trace of another line at the bottom; the back is blank.
Second papyrus at the top (B): Medium-brown papyrus fragment, complete at the bottom, with surface damage; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears portions of 4 lines, with traces of another line at the top; the back is blank.
Third papyrus from the left (C): Medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete at the bottom; with plaster residue in a few places; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears portions of 10 lines, with traces of another line at the top; the back is blank.
Fourth papyrus from the left (D): Fragment of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete at the bottom; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears portions of 5 lines, with a trace of on another line at the top. The back is blank.
Upper right papyrus (E): Strip of a light-brown papyrus sheet; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears a few letters from 8 lines, the back is blank.
Lower left papyrus (F): Square-shaped light-brown papyrus sheet, with some damage; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears 6 lines; a sheet-join runs along the left edge. The back is blank.
Lower right papyrus (G): Medium-brown papyrus sheet, with some damage; written on one side along the fibres; the front bears 4 lines, with further writing at the bottom left. The back is blank.

Origin: Arsinoite nome.
Provenance: Gurob, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Presented as part of a lot comprising Papyri 486-603 by Henry Martyn Kennard (b. 1833, d. 1911) in May 1895. The papyri had been extracted from mummy cartonnage found in Gurob by William Matthew Flinders Petrie (b. 1853, d. 1942) in 1889-1890.
