Upper left papyrus (A) (P.Lond. 600(a), TM 78471): Theogenes acknowledges that he has received a loan (?) from some persons whose names are damaged; drawn up in Krokodilopolis. Unpublished.
Lower left papyrus (D) (P.Petr. I(2) 7, TM 47307): Fragment of a will; the testator, a Macedonian aged 75, makes provisions for his daughter and someone else; another fragment of this will is in Dublin, Trinity College, inventoried as Pap. FF 2 [7].

Five fragments of varying size extracted from mummy cartonnage, mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
Upper left papyrus (A): Upper right portion of a light-brown papyrus sheet, with surface damage in place; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears the ends of 15 lines, the last of which are very fragmentary; the back is blank.
Second papyrus at the top (B): Light-brown papyrus fragment, written on one side along the fibres. The front bears portions of 15 lines; the back is blank.
Upper right papyrus (C): Medium-brown papyrus sheet, complete on the left and partly at the top; with plaster residue; written on one side across the fibres. The front bears the beginnings of 12 lines, with traces of another line at the bottom; the back is blank.
Lower left papyrus (D): Fragment of a medium-to-dark-brown papyrus sheet, complete on the right and broken off on the other sides. The back is blank. Another fragment is in Dublin, Trinity College, inventoried as Pap. FF 2 [7].
Lower right papyrus (E): Fragment of a light-brown papyrus sheet, broken off at the top; written on one side along the fibres. The front bears the foot of a column, the back is blank.

Dimensions: Fragments of varying size: A: 120 x 78 mm; B: 110 x 65 mm; C: 93 x 45 mm; D: 110 x 68 mm; E: 73 x 101 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 280 x 255 mm.
Script: A: Neat, rounded upright hand resembling the literary type; B, D-E: Various cursive hands. C: Rather irregular and large hand with some cursive traits.

Provenance: Gurob, meris of Herakleides, Arsinoite nome, Egypt. Presented as part of a lot comprising Papyri 486-603 by Henry Martyn Kennard (b. 1833, d. 1911) in May 1895. The papyri had been extracted from mummy cartonnage found in Gurob by William Matthew Flinders Petrie (b. 1853, d. 1942) in 1889-1890.
