A loan of 35 artabas of wheat with interest included, the lessor being Apollonia, Dryton’s wife, and the lessees her sister Herais and the husband Apollonius. Penalty applies if the borrowers fail to return the loan in time. The writer is Areius, representative of the notary Sarapinus. The docket with summary and date is on the back.

Papyrus sheet, fully preserved although damaged by holes along the horizontal and two vertical folds. Writing is on both sides, along the fibres on the recto and across them on the verso. On the recto, all margins are extant, with the upper margin of 32 mm, the lower of 55 mm and the left of 20 mm; the right margin is minimal. A sheet-join runs across the fibres at c. 6 mm from the right edge. The verso has a docket arranged in two columns, the first with two lines and the second with three lines. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.
