Copy of the will of Dryton made by his son Esthladas, whereby his possessions are to be divided between his son from his first marriage and his five daughters. Among the other things, Esthladas is to receive a horse, the weaponry, and a vineyard. Dovecots, open lots, slaves are to be divided between Esthladas and Dryton’s daughters. Dryton also makes provisions for his wife on condition that she remains in the house, and for one of his daughter’s dowry.

A papyrus of good quality, originally rolled from right to left, lacking part of its left portion and damaged along the vertical folds. Writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank; the text consists of one broad column of 22 lines. The upper margin measures 15 mm, the lower 60 mm, the right 35 mm and the left is not preserved. Three sheet-joins are visible. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.
