Lower portion of a papyrus sheet of coarse quality, written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The text breaks off at the top; 9 lines survive, the last of which is indented. The right margin is minimal and irregular, the lower margin is extant, and the left margin is partly preserved. A sheet-join runs from top to bottom at c. 25 mm from the right edge. Vertical folds are visible. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 95 x 105 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 145 x 155 mm.
Script: Thin cursive hand with many ligatures; lines tend to incline upwards.

Origin: Ptolemais (cf. BL X).
Provenance: Pathyris (Gebelein), Pathyrite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 605-650 from Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) on 9 November 1895.
