Contract for the sale of some land located in the Pathyrite nome and drawn up in the office of the notary Paniscus before his representative. The buyer is Pakoibis and the seller Petosiris. The receipt for the payment of 1200 copper drachmas on account of the tax on sale is included. The banker was Apollonius.
Only few letters of the column containing the summary of the deed remain.

Fragments of varying size of a dark-brown papyrus, written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. Portions of two columns survive; of the first only few letters remain. Upper and lower margin survive. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Dimensions: Fragments of various sizes; housed in a glass frame measuring 215 x 330 mm.
Script: Regular cursive hand, with some hooked strokes ('Hermias-hand'); uneven, thicker and rougher hand in the last four lines.

Provenance: Pathyris (Gebelein), Pathyrite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 605-650 from Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) on 9 November 1895.
