Fragment of a papyrus sheet, broken off at the top (front) and lacking most of the left half; with few holes and minor damage along the folds in the preserved portion. Writing runs along the fibres on the front and across them on the back; the back was rotated 180 degrees, and has 3 lines written at the top, which are the continuation of the front; the beginning of line 2 was cancelled. The front bears 16 lines, 11 of which lack the beginnings; the last 3 lines were apparently erased. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.

Dimensions: 141 x 130 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 195 x 180 mm.
Script: Thin, large cursive hand; faster and uneven cursive hand at the end of the recto and on the verso.

Provenance: Pathyris (Gebelein), Pathyrite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 605-650 from Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) on 9 November 1895.
