Fragment of a papyrus sheet, broken off at the bottom and left, and with damage in the preserved portion; writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. There are portions of 20 lines, all lacking the beginnings. The right margin is irregular. A sheet-join runs along the height of the sheet in the right edge. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 174 x 118 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 230 x 165 mm.
Script: Regular and neat upright cursive hand of small size, with a tendency for lines to incline upwards; one interlinear addition.

Provenance: Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 605-650 from Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) on 9 November 1895.
