Contract drawn up in Krokodilopolis at the office of the notary Paniscus recording the sale of two plots of land for a total of three aruras and a half at the price of nine talents. The sellers are Taous, aged 48, and her two sisters, with Taous’ husband as a guardian, and the buyers are Peteharsemetheus, aged 36, and his three brothers. Descriptions of the parties and of the land are provided. With summary of the deed in column 1.

Light-brown papyrus roll, complete and well preserved, displaying minor damage along the vertical folds and in the left edge; writing is on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are three columns of varying height and width; the first is of 8 short lines; the second has 11 broad lines, with lines 3-11 being indented; the third has 4 broad lines, the last written in the middle of the column. The intercolumns between columns 1 and 2 and between columns 2 and 3 measure x mm and x mm respectively. Upper, lower and right margins are extant. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Script: Column 1: Rough and rapid cursive hand; Columns 2-3: Regular and neat cursive hand of medium size, somewhat thick, with some elongated strokes.
