Document drawn up in the notarial office in Pathyris before Hermias, recording the repayment of a loan of money from Peteharsemtheus and his three brothers to Horus, son of Paous. Peteharsemtheus and his brothers had requested the loan on behalf of their grandmother Tareesis, who had borrowed the money from three men, Chaeremon, Esthladas and Pnephis. With endorsement on the back.

Papyrus sheet, complete but damaged along the central horizontal fold and along the upper and lower edges; well preserved as to the rest. Writing runs along the fibres on both sides; the back bears two lines and displays some dark spots throughout; on the front there is one column of 26 lines; margins are extant, with the upper and lower being wide and the right irregular and minimal. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.

Dimensions: 298 x 152 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 355 x 205 mm.
Script: Medium-sized, upright cursive hand, neat and regular, exhibiting some left-pointing serifs at the end of uprights ('Hermias-hand'); smaller and compressed in the last line.
