Letter from Petesuchus, son of Panebchounis, to his brother Peteharsemtheus and others. Among other things, Petesuchus advises the recipients to buy the wheat there or in Diospolis, having heard that the mice had eaten up the grain seed. With address on the back.

Papyrus sheet, with breaks along the vertical folds and lacking the bottom left corner, but well-preserved as to the rest. Writing runs along the fibres on both sides, the back having one column of three short lines in the middle of the left margin and one line in the right-hand half of the sheet. On the front there is one column of 22 lines. All margins survive. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Script: Thin, rough and irregular cursive hand of medium size, occasionally compressed at the end of the lines.
