Papyrus sheet, broken off to the right, damaged by holes throughout, especially along the edges, and with some surface damage; writing runs across the fibres on one side, the back being blank. On the front there are 8 lines, lacking their ends, for approximately 20 letters. A sheet-join running along the width of the sheet is visible in the middle. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Dimensions: 140 x 175 mm. Housed in a glass frame measuring 195 x 230 mm.
Script: Thin, rough cursive hand of fair size, with a slight slant to the right; different hand, smaller and more cursive, in the last two lines.

Provenance: Arsinoite nome. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 688-731 from Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) in November 1896.
