With subscription of Apollonius, former exegetes and gymnasiarch, through the scribe Didas at the end.

Papyrus sheet, darkened in places, broken off at the top and left, and lacking part of the lower margin; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are 17 lines, some of which lack the beginnings; the beginning of the text is not preserved. Part of the lower margin survives; no margin was left to the right; the other margins are lost. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 167 x 132 mm. Housed in a glass frame measuring 220 x 185 mm.
Script: Neat, thin upright cursive hand, somewhat smaller and more cursive in places; different hand from the end of line 14, more cursive, larger and with a slight slant to the right.

Provenance: Krokodilopolis (Medinet el-Fayum), Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 688-731 from Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) in November 1896.
