Copy of a receipt acknowledging the repayment of a loan of 1000 drachmas with accrued interest after eighteen years. The parties involved are the funerary worker (nekrotaphos) Petechon, son of the lender, Polydeuces surnamed Mersis, and Aurelia Senosiris, widow of the borrower Apollonius and daughter of Isidora, both from Kysis.

Light-brown sheet of papyrus, damaged at the top and bottom and defaced in places, and with a small detached scrap. Writing is on one side along the fibres, with the back being blank. Four vertical folds are visible. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

The papyrus is part of the Archive of the Nekrotaphoi of the Oasis (TM Arch ID 147).
The father of Petechon, Polydeuces alias Mersis, occurs in a papyrus in the Sackler Library published as P.Nekr. 4; Petechon is found in another papyrus in the Sackler Library published as P.Nekr. 33. The mother of Senosiris, Isidora, occurs also in BL Papyrus 711 (P.Nekr. 10), and in a papyrus in the Sackler Library published as P.Nekr. 15.
