A copy of the deed contained in Papyrus 708 (P.Nekr. 11), made forty years later than the original, whereby Petosiris, funerary worker (nekrotaphos) of Hibis, grants Petechon of Kysis a quarter share of the funerary practice he owns in Kysis as a gift; with subscriptions at the end. The body of the document was written by Aurelius Isocrates, son of Magnus.

Papyrus sheet, made out of two fragments; a third small fragment is housed in the Sackler Library, Oxford, and preserves the upper right corner, with the ends of the first three lines of the recto. Writing is on both sides along the fibres, with the back having a two-line docket. The left margin survives to 10 mm, the upper to 5 mm, the lower to 35-40 mm; no margin was left at the right. Five vertical folds are visible; the papyrus was folded from the right. It is housed in a glass case.

Script: Proficient, somewhat irregular cursive hand; second hand in lines 19-20, larger and less rapid; third hand in lines 21-23, more detached and clumsy.

Provenance: Kysis (Dush), Western Desert, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 688-731 from Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) on 14 November 1896.
