A mandate from two brothers from different mothers, Petosiris and Petechon, sons of Petechon, funerary workers (nekrotaphoi), to Aurelius Marianus, who is to sail to Alexandria to register a deed of gift executed for them by their father. The deed is then enclosed. The possessions, equally divided between the brothers, include shares of wells, hunting grounds, funerary practices in various villages, and house lots. The body of the deed was written by Aurelius Basileides alias Sarapodorus.

Papyrus roll, light-brown by patches, damaged by holes throughout and defaced in places. Writing is on one side along the fibres; portions of two columns survive, with the second being better preserved. The intercolumn measures 10 mm; the left margin 30 mm and no margin was left to the right; the upper and lower margins do not survive. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.
