A loan of two talents borrowed by Aurelius Souris, son of Petechon, of Kysis, aged forty-eight, from Aurelius Psentphous, funerary worker (exopylites) of Diospolis, living in the cemetery of Ptytis. The loan shall be repaid with interest. Aurelius Philemon wrote on behalf of Aurelius Souris, who is illiterate. The back records the lender’s name.

Dark-brown papyrus sheet, damaged in the middle and with a few wormholes at the upper and lower edges. Writing runs on both sides along the fibres, with the back having a one-line docket. Five vertical folds and a horizontal one at 126 mm from the top are visible. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.
