Incomplete papyrus sheet, lacking part of its lower portion and the left-hand upper part, written on both sides along the fibres, the back only having one broken line. A kollesis (sheet-join) is at c. 3 cm from the left-hand side, with the fibres of the first sheet being perpendicular to the ones of the second sheet. Housed in one glass case. Number 122 in red refers to the publication in P.Oxy I.

Dimensions: 260 x 180 mm. Housed in one glass case measuring 310 x 235 mm.
Script: Large, thin hand, with occasional letters of Latin forms. Rough breathings and diaeresis occur.

Origin: Oxyrhynchus, Oxyrhynchite nome, Egypt.
Provenance: Oxyrhynchus, Oxyrhynchite nome, Egypt. Presented as part of a lot comprising Papyri 739-834 by the Egypt Exploration Fund in October 1900. Of these, Papyri 739-814 form part of the discoveries made by B. P. Grenfell and A. S. Hunt on the site of the ancient Oxyrhynchus.
