Fragment of a papyrus roll, darker in the lower part of the left edge, broken off at the bottom, right and left, and somewhat damaged in the preserved portion, with loose and dislocated fibres and holes. The text on the front runs along the fibres; parts of 30 lines from the top of one column survive, each containing 19-23 letters; traces of one letter opposite the 28th and 29th lines belong to a second column. The intercolumn measures 15 mm and the upper margin 45 mm; no other margin is preserved. The upper margin hosts three lines of cursive writing. The number in red refers to the edition in P.Oxy. II. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

- Physical Characteristics:
-
Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: 170 x 49 mm; housed in a glass case measuring 215 x 105 mm.
Script: Formal hand of small size, round, with some finials. Occasional accents and breathings, punctuation by high stop (to mark shorter pause) and dicolon (for a longer pause), and the mark of quantity in line 8 were presumably added by the same hand at a later stage; a mark is visible in the lower part of the intercolumn. Space-fillers occur at the end of some lines. A different hand, smaller and cursive, is responsible for the annotations in the upper margin.
