- Fragment of a papyrus roll, written on both sides along the fibres on the front and across the fibres on the back. On the front there are latter parts of two columns; only lines 9–13 of the second column are fully preserved. Part of the bottom margin and the intercolumn survive. The number in red refers to the publication in P.Oxy. II. On the back there is another text in a different hand, defaced. Housed in one glass case.

Dimensions: 130 x 140 mm, housed in a glass case measuring 180 x 190 mm.
Script: Recto: Medium-sized, sloping uncial hand; Severe style. No breathings or accents and only one stop. Verso: Cursive hand.

Origin: Oxyrhynchus, Oxyrhynchite nome (?), Egypt.
Provenance: Oxyrhynchus, Oxyrhynchite nome, Egypt. Presented as part of a lot comprising Papyri 739-834 by the Egypt Exploration Fund in October 1900. Of these, papyri 739-814 form part of the discoveries made by B. P. Grenfell and A. S. Hunt on the site of the ancient Oxyrhynchus.
