Flavius Papnouthius, son of Phileas, acknowledges that he has received thirty solidi as a bounty for his military service, delivered to him by Aurelius Cyrillus; with subscriptions of Papnouthius and of a witness in the same hand as the body of the document, and Cyrillus’ subscription at the end in a different hand. This document is a copy, and Cyrillus retains the original.

Papyrus sheet, broken off at the top and with damage along the vertical folds; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. The lower portion of a column survives, with 18 lines; of the first two lines, only few traces remain. Left and lower margins are extant; no margin was left to the right.The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: 228 x 190 mm; framed in a glass case measuring 285 x 245 mm.
Script: Proficient, thin, upright cursive hand of medium size, with some elongated strokes; letters at the beginning of the lines tend to be enlarged; occasionally compressed at the end of the lines. Different hand for the subscription in the last two lines, rough, sloping cursive.
