Copy of the receipt for the payment of the outstanding 60 drachmas made through the private bank of Hermaeus, to complete the purchase of five oxen, three of which are red-coloured and two white-coloured. The seller is Heracles, son of Zenon, and the buyer Apollonius, son of Hermias. With subscription of Heracles at the end and summary on the back.

Papyrus sheet, complete, with few small insect holes. Writing runs on both sides: the back contains a one-line docket written along the fibres in the lower margin and two faded lines written across the fibres. The front bears 13 lines, complete, with blank space of 50-55 mm between lines 7 and 8. All margins are extant. Vertical folds are visible. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.
