Lower right papyrus (C) (P.Lond.Lit. 53, TM 61313, LDAB 2455, MP3 1581): Fragmentary leaf from a papyrus codex, containing iambic trimeters with stichometrical divisions, possibly from an anthology and apparently on a dream obtained by incubation. Attributed to Simonides and assigned to the third or fourth century.

Three papyrus fragments that do not belong together, housed in the same glass frame.
Left papyrus (A): Medium-brown papyrus fragment, complete at the bottom and right, broken off on the other sides; abraded in places; written on one side. The front bears the right-hand part of a column written along the fibres; the lower margin is extant, no space was left to the right. The back is blank.
Upper right papyrus (B): Lower right portion of a medium-brown papyrus sheet, written on one side. The front bears the right-hand part of a column written along the fibres; the lower margin is extant, no space was left to the right. The back is blank.
Lower right papyrus (C): Fragment of a leaf of a light-brown papyrus codex, worm-eaten in places; written on both sides, each side bearing part of the foot of a column; the lower margin survives.

Script: A-B: Neat, upright cursive hands. C: Small, neat regular upright cursive hand; occasional accents, breathings and elision marks.
