- Two portions of a papyrus roll with seven detached scraps named A-G in one frame, from mummy cartonnage; written on one side along the fibres, and with mummy decoration on the back. On the front, portions of 6 columns remain, written along the fibres, covered with plaster residue; the column width is 60 mm; the lower margin survives. The detached fragments preserve few letters. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Dimensions: Fragments of varying size; largest: 297 x 263 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 260 x 535 mm.
Script: Careful, upright hand of medium size; with corrections by original scribe; paragraphus used to mark punctuation.

Origin: Ankyropolis (El-Hiba), Egypt.
Provenance: Ankyropolis (El- Hibah), Egypt. Presented as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1821-1841 by the Egypt Exploration Fund in January 1909. They were extracted from mummy cartonnage obtained by Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) and Arthur Surridge Hunt (b. 1871, d. 1934) at Hibeh in 1902.
