-
Recto (P.Oxy. Census, P.Oxy. VI 984a-c, TM 20395): Census list enumerating 63 households, usually providing details such as name, patronymic, paternal grandfather’name, mother’s name etc; the basis of the entry (‘from his declaration’); gymnasial status, if applicable; place of residence and details on ownership of the house; information on the declarant, with physical description, occupation, tax status and age; list of the other members of the household, starting with males followed by females. Sections on females are indented. In frame 1 is a fragment, the second from the left, upside down and not belonging to the census register, written in a different hand.
