Upper left papyrus (A) (P.Lond.Lit. 241, TM 65196, LDAB 6438): Fragment of a Christian prayer, barely legible, assigned to the sixth or seventh century.
Upper right papyrus (B) (P.Lond.Lit. 210, TM 62145, LDAB 3305): Fragment of the same papyrus codex of the Book of Job as two fragments now in Manchester, John Rylands Library (Gr. 2), and New York, Pierpont Morgan Library (Amherst Gr. 4). The British Library fragment preserves Job 14:1-5 on one side, and 14:12-14 on the other side; page numbers are given at the top; assigned to the sixth or seventh century.
Two fragments in the centre on the left (C) (P.Lond.Lit. 242, TM 65197, LDAB 6439): Two small fragments of a prayer, assigned to the sixth or seventh century; the back bears traces of a document, unpublished.
Right fragment in the centre (D) (P.Lond.Lit. 243, TM 64883, LDAB 6122): Fragment of a papyrus codex, with a Christian text assigned to the fifth or sixth century.
All other fragments (E) (P.Lond.Lit. 229, TM 64880, LDAB 6119): Fragments from a papyrus codex containing an apocalyptic homily, assigned to the fifth or sixth century.

Thirteen papyrus fragments, only some of which belong together, housed in the same glass frame.
Upper left papyrus (A): Fragment of a papyrus, with surface damage throughout; written on one side; portions of 13 lines running along the fibres, barely readable in places.
Upper right papyrus (B): Upper part of a leaf from a papyrus codex, with surface damage; from the same codex as two other fragments, now in Manchester, John Rylands Library (Gr. 2), and New York, Pierpont Morgan Library (Amherst Gr. 4). The fragment is written on both sides, along and across the fibres, and preserves portions of 10 and 11 lines, illegible in places. The upper margin measures 40 mm, the side margin measures 70 mm.
Two fragments in the centre on the left (C): Two small papyrus fragments, broken off on all sides; written on both sides across the fibres.
Right fragment in the centre (D): Papyrus fragment of light colour from a codex, broken off on all sides; written on both sides, along and across the fibres.
All other fragments (E): Eight medium-to-dark brown fragments of varying size from a papyrus codex; broken off on all sides; writing on both sides, along and across the fibres.

Dimensions: Fragments of varying size: A: 117 x 57 mm; B: 110 x 135 mm; C: 30 x 91 mm; D: 75 x 37 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 345 x 255 mm.
Script: A: Good-sized majuscule; B: Rather large, round upright majuscule; C: Large, square, upright majuscule. Low point occurs once. Cursive hand on the back. D: Large, upright, somewhat irregular hand; one high point occurs; verso: more irregular hand. E: Large, thick rounded and upright majuscule.
