M. Aurelius Saras, a citizen of Oxyrhynchus, declared to the responsible Roman official that the inheritance of his wife, who had died intestate, passed to his two daughters. The inheritance, of the value of two hundred sesterces, was free from the vicesima hereditatium (a tax on inheritance). The Latin declaration is supplemented with a Greek attestation of the intestate death, signed by the witnesses and by the declarant, and with a Latin subscription.

Script: Latin clear cursive hands; line 38 is in a smaller and less neat hand. Dots or short dashes mark abbreviations and some words. Greek cursive hands.
