A contract between Aurelius Abraham of the village of Senokomis and Aurelius Isaac, trader of Alexandria, the former acknowledging to have received a loan of ten solidi from hand to hand. The loan shall be paid back after six months with the interest of 20 bundles of tow. Signed by a deacon on behalf of Abraham and with endorsement on the back.

Fully preserved papyrus sheet, with a few wormholes, especially in its left half; the text runs along the fibres on both sides, the back having a two-line docket. The number in red refers to the publication in P.Oxy. VIII. Housed in a glass case.

Script: Well-formed upright hand with some ligatures; a second hand, rougher and more cursive, in lines 26-30 of the recto.
