Life of Euripides by Satyrus in form of a dialogue, with end-title stating that this was book 6 of Satyrus’s Lives of Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides. The portion preserved covers the main events of the life of Euripides, and describes his character as well as his views on various matters, including philosophy, religion, politics, and women. The text displays a wealth of quotations from Demosthenes, Euripides, Aristophanes, Homer, Plato, and Timotheus.

Fragments of varying size from a medium-brown papyrus roll, housed in four glass frames, named Papyrus 2070(1), Papyrus 2070(2), Papyrus 2073(3), and Papyrus 2073(4). The writing runs along the fibres on the front, and the back is blank. Portions of 22 narrow columns are preserved, about 30 mm wide, with remains of other lines. The intercolumn is minimal. Upper and lower margins are partly preserved in some of the fragments.

Script: Small, upright informal hand with cursive tendencies of scribe A12; stops, paragraphi and occasional accents occur; frequent doubling of strokes; with some corrections.
