An agreement whereby Heracles and his wife Isarion of Oxyrhynchus consent to the adoption of their two-year old son Patermouthis by Aurelius Horion, of Oxyrhynchus. The child shall be the legal heir of Horion and shall not be repudiated or reduced into a state of slavery; Heracles and Isarion shall not take the child away from Horion. With subscription written by a scribe on behalf of Horion, who has agreed to the terms.

Dimensions: 235 x 156 mm; housed in a glass case measuring 280 x 205 mm.
Script: Neat and regular cursive hand with upright letters; a second hand, rougher, more cursive and sloping to the right, wrote the subscription from line 20 to end.
