Papyrus sheet, with insect holes and abrasion in places; written on both sides. On the front, there are remains of various lines, the ink being faded at the top. The back is stained in places; writing runs across the fibres, with 25 lines from one column, with additions above the line. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Dimensions: 174 x 98 mm; housed in a glass frame measuring 220 x 155 mm.
Script: Recto: Upright, neat and regular hand of medium size, ligatured at times. Verso: Fluent but irregular and untidy hand, mostly cursive, with corrections, erasures and insertions; with occasional dashes separating the verses.

Provenance: Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2103-2239 from Bernard Pyne Grenfell (b. 1869, d. 1926) in May 1920.
