A letter from Sarmates to his father Dioscorus concerning the dispatch of some goods such as oil for burning and eating and wine for a feast. Sarmates also asks the recipient to bring some milk-cakes if he comes there. With docket on the back.

Papyrus sheet, fully preserved, with writing on either side along the fibres. The back bears a two-line docket. On the front the upper margin measures approximately 10 mm, the lower 32 mm and the side margins are minimal. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.
