Taxation-return concerning money taxes paid by pastophori (priests). The name of the pastophorus, the sums due and the dates of the payments to the bank are recorded. The second column, very fragmentary, may contain a summary. Dated to 147.
Verso (P.Oxy. XII 1436, TM 21840)
Account of taxes collected over three months, listing the tax and the corresponding sum. Among the taxes listed are the poll-tax, pig-tax, tax on trade, linen-tax, and taxes for the maintenance of desert guards and public baths. Dated to 156-157.

Fragment of a papyrus roll, written on both sides, along the fibres on the recto and across them on the verso. The recto preserves two columns; the first is broken off at the bottom, and of the second only the beginnings of the lines survive, followed by blank space. The verso contains parts of four columns: of the first, only the ends of a couple of lines remain. The papyrus is housed in a glass case.
