Sworn Declaration of Temple Lamp-Lighters (P.Oxy. XII 1453, TM 21854)
- Scope & Content:

Copy of a declaration on oath addresseed to the superintendents of the temples, whereby four lamp-lighters, Thonis alias Patoiphis and Heraclides from the temple of Sarapis in Oxyrhynchus, and Paapis and Petosiris from the temple of Thoeris, undertake to supply oil for the daily lights burning in the temples for a fixed period, as they had done previously.
