Declaration on oath addressed to Aurelius Herammon, strategus of the Oxyrhynchite nome, by Aurelius Theodorus, an oil-seller of Oxyrhynchus, who undertakes to provide fine oil at the market-place on a daily basis. With signatures of Theodorus and his surety Aurelius Sarapammon written by Aurelius Silvanus, and of another man.

Papyrus sheet, damaged by a few wormholes throughout and broken at the bottom and top; in its upper portion the layer of horizontal fibres is mostly lost, and the vertical fibres forming the back survive occasionally. Writing is on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. Mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Dimensions: 218 x 91 mm; housed in a glass case measuring 260 x 140 mm.
Script: Three hands: Upright cursive hand; more cursive hand, sloping to the right, for the subscription at the end. A third hand occurs in the last two lines, of which only a few traces remain.
