Fragmentary leaf from a parchment codex, containing the Theodosian Code VII.8.9-10 on one side, and VII.8.10-14 on the other. The careful layout and script suggest that this was an official copy of the code (Ammirati, The Latin Book (2010)).

Fragmentary leaf from a parchment codex of large format and fine quality, with some holes in places; one column of 23 lines survives on each page; originally, there were 31 lines to the page. The upper margin is ample and measures 63 mm. Housed in a glass frame.

Script: Calligraphic uncial of the ‘B-R’ type, almost round.
