Right-hand portion of a papyrus slip, written on one side across the fibres, the back being blank. The front bears the ends of 3 lines, with at least two-third lost to the left. Upper (19 mm), lower (16 mm) and right margins are extant. A sheet-join runs horizontally at 13 mm from the bottom. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.

Script: Neat, upright hand, with ligatures in places and occasional serifs.

Provenance: Egypt. Purchased with a lot comprising Papyri 2486-2542 from Maurice Nahman (b. 1868, d. 1948) in September 1922; part of a joint purchase with the University of Michigan and Cornell University.
