Private Letter from Athanasius to Papnuthius (P.Lond. VI 1929, TM 32662)
- Scope & Content:

A letter to Papnuthius from Athanasius (of Alexandria?), who is concerned about the sickness of a certain Didyma and the poor health of his mother, which cause him distress in addition to his already weak health. As a result, he asks for Papnuthius’ prayers. He also rejoices that a certain Horus was sent to him by Papnuthius. The address is on the back.

Fragments of a papyrus sheet, with wormholes throughout; much of the central portion of the text is lost. Writing is along the fibres on both sides, the back bearing the address in two lines. Housed in one glass case.
