A light-brown papyrus, imperfect on the left, containing two columns, the first of which is incomplete. The papyrus was folded from right to left and is rubbed in a few places. Writing is along the fibres, the back only having a few traces. Partly mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Provenance: Phathor, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 2543-2551 from Maurice Nahman (b. 1868, d. 1948) in September 1923. Part of a joint purchase with the University of Michigan, Columbia University and the University of Oslo.
